Au même moment et à travers tout le pays, la poudrière éclata. C’est le baroud saluant la venue au monde de l’A.L.N. Des hommes avaient compris les attentes du pays. Le désir profond du peuple algérien, c’était la liberté. Pour cela, une seule voie : la lutte armée. Quand les premiers moments de stupeur furent passés, on comprit la vérité. La Révolution était bel et bien déclenchée en Algérie ; la lutte armée avait commencé. L’A.L.N enregistre ses premières victoires militaires. L’armée de libération nationale était là, présente bien organisée. Désormais, il fallait compter avec elle. Le peuple lui faisait confiance. La guerre de libération qui dura sept ans et demi, prit fin en 1962 où l’Algérie remporta la victoire contre un siècle et demi de colonialisme français. *Mots difficiles : Firmament = ciel.
