Le Dr Abdeldjebbar est un parfait exemple pour la jeunesse algérienne et pour n’importe quel être humain voulant faire du bien. Et c’est avec une grande joie et beaucoup de modestie qu’il nous offre de son temps pour partager avec nous ses différentes expériences humanitaires.) « - Pour commencer, parlez-nous docteur, de vous et de votre parcours ? - Un jeune médecin, travaillant dans un hôpital public, j’ai toujours essayé de mettre mes services au profit des plus démunis ce qui m’a valu une expérience riche dans le domaine caritatif. Aujourd’hui, je vise à promouvoir l’esprit positif au milieu des jeunes et à les inspirer par le partage de mon expérience. - Pourquoi vous vous consacrez au travail humanitaire? - J’éprouvais, depuis mon jeune âge, une envie mais surtout un besoin d’aider autrui. Je rêvais de faire médecine en vue d’apaiser les souffrances des autres, car je sentais leurs douleurs. A mon avis, l’humanité est, avant tout, de se mettre à la place du malade, compatir à sa peine et faire tout son possible pour la soulager. - Pourquoi la Birmanie ? Parlez-nous de votre expérience là-bas. - En voyant, sur le net, les conditions désastreuses dans lesquelles vivaient ces personnes, je me sentais concerné. Je me demandais sans cesse: « est-ce humain de laisser nos semblables, souffrir? » Malgré les risques, j’ai traversé la frontière vers le plus grand refuge avec un bon nombre d’activistes et d’associations de bienfaisance afin d’apporter notre aide. - Un mot pour les jeunes afin de les convaincre de se lancer dans le travail humanitaire? - Je pense que les jeunes doivent s’engager dans le travail humanitaire pour les autres mais aussi pour eux. D’abord, cela leur permettra d’aider les démunis et de soulager leur souffrance. En plus, c’est un excellent moyen d’apprentissage et d’échange. Enfin, il leur procurera de la satisfaction morale.
